Working across two countries is not a matter of adding up two law firms. It means anticipating how a decision taken in São Paulo plays out in Lisbon: which law governs the contract, which court has jurisdiction, which ancillary obligation will be required months later. That coordination is what prevents duplicated work and lost time.
We act both under an ongoing counsel arrangement, as the company’s external legal department, and on discrete matters of greater complexity. In either case the client speaks to the lawyer responsible, with a frank assessment of viability, stages and timelines before the work begins.
