The firm
A practice built to operate across two countries.
A full-scope firm advising companies, investors and individuals with activity in Brazil and Portugal, bringing corporate, contract, employment, real estate, banking and international practice under a single technical direction.
Who we are
Cross-border operations fail for lack of legal coordination, not for lack of merit.
“Seu direito não tem fronteiras.”
Our practice grew out of advising Brazilian companies and families who decided to establish operations in Portugal. A pattern soon became clear: the problems rarely arose from the complexity of the law, and almost always from the absence of someone able to see both jurisdictions at once.
A company incorporated without a prior permanent establishment analysis, generating unexpected tax obligations. A distribution agreement with a jurisdiction clause unenforceable against the foreign counterparty. A divorce granted in Europe that never reached the Brazilian civil registry. These are failures of coordination, not of substantive law.
We built the firm to solve exactly that. We are admitted to practise in both countries, we handle the procedures on both sides, and we keep a single line of communication. Clients do not manage lawyers, deadlines and translations across two legal languages.
Our practice spans several areas out of practical necessity: a cross-border operation touches corporate, contract, employment and asset matters at the same time. Keeping those areas under one technical direction avoids contradictory advice and preserves the coherence of the strategy over the years.

Values
The principles behind every engagement
These are not statements of intent: they are the criteria we apply in accepting matters and in carrying out the work.
Technical rigour
Every argument is built on current legislation, scholarship and case law. There is no room for improvisation when a family’s assets or residence are at stake.
Discretion
Professional privilege applied strictly: in documents, in communications and in the handling of personal data, under the LGPD and the GDPR.
Candour
We set out the real picture, including the unfavourable parts. We would rather decline a matter than sustain an expectation the law does not support.
International perspective
Every piece of advice considers both jurisdictions at once: tax, registry and succession effects in each country.
